How do I get my cat to use the litter box?
Hi Ellen,
You don’t mention how old your cat is. If it is a kitten take it to the litter box straight after each meal and each time it wakes up. Adults can be a little harder to train if they haven’t been using the litter box before. It’s basically the same, carry your cat to the litter box after each meal. Always praise when they eliminate. It’s a matter of patience and repetition. I’ll write an article about it this week.
